National immigrant advocates pray at Broadview detention center
Representatives from the National Pastoral Migratoria Institute pray the rosary at the Immigration Customs Enforcement Detention Center in Broadview on July 25, 2025. The institute hosted representatives from 11 dioceses July 24-26 at Catholic Theological Union. The theme for this year’s institute was “Hope Does Not Disappoint.” The institute brings together diocesan staff and parish leaders as a national community to seek ways to serve our immigrant sisters and brothers through grassroots leadership.
