Catholic Cemeteries hosts military service for newly identified person

Catholic Cemeteries of the Archdiocese of Chicago hosted a full honors military graveside service on July 1, 2025, at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 2755 W. 111th St., for Reba Bailey, a recently identified person who served in the Army in 1961. Bailey died in 2015 and was buried as an indigent at the cemetery. Cook County Sheriffs recently identified Bailey through military records as part of a missing persons cold case.
