Zacchaeus House Established in 2002, Zacchaeus House is a ministry of Catholic Deacons offering hospitality to men in transition to stability in their lives. A group of African American Deacons were in conversation with Bishop Perry back in 1999 wishing to provide a response to homelessness among men in the city of Chicago with a new ministerial venture welcoming the volunteer service of any deacon of the Archdiocese of Chicago. Zacchaeus House is a not-for-profit, non-treatment residential facility for displaced men seeking an opportunity to better their situation. The Program got its official start December 2002. The doors opened March 2003. The House was blessed on August 2, by Francis Cardinal George. Zacchaues House is located at 12242 S. Parnell. The
phone number is 773/568-7822. Zaccheus House needs your support! Your contribution of any amount is appreciated!
