About Father David ...
REVEREND DAVID ALAN JONES was ordained in 1989 by the late Joseph Cardinal Bernardin. Fr. Jones served as Associate Pastor of St. Martin DePorres Parish and St. Philip Neri Parish. In 1993 Cardinal Bernardin appointed Fr. Jones as Pastor of St. Ambrose. Fr. Jones currently holds the following positions in the Archdiocese of Chicago:
- Pastor of St. Ambrose Parish
- President of Archbishop Quigley Preparatory Seminary
- Dean of Deanery VI-A
- Vice Chair — Priest Placement Board
- Chair — Presbyteral Council Human Relations Committee
- Board Member — Archdiocesan Finance Council
Fr. Jones gained teaching experience at Hales Franciscan High School and at Xavier Universities Institute of Black Catholic Studies in New Orleans. At the Institute he also served as Liturgical Director. |
